Training Practice

The Reddish Family Practices have been approved as a Learning Environment.

Dr Saksena Joye is our approved general practice foundation trainer (FY1 and FY2, and ST2).   An FY1 and FY2 is also a fully qualified doctor and can see patients independently; they will see fewer patients than a ST2 and have longer appointment times (approx. 30 minutes). The trainee is usually with the practice for four months.

Video Consultations

On occasion doctors and the trainees will need to do video consultations, video consent forms are available for the patient to sign and these can be found in the filing cabinets at reception at both sites.
