Wheelchair access
We make every effort to make the surgery accessible for disabled patients.
There are disabled parking bays at each of our carparks, and both our sites have automatic doors into the main entrance, and a ramp for emergency access to the rear of the property.
Both sites have a dropped reception desk for wheelchair users, a downstairs accessible patient toilet and most of our examination beds are adjustable for ease of use.
Hearing Difficulties
If you are experiencing hearing difficulties when being called in to see the doctor or nurse, please do let us know in order for us to set up an alert on your medical records and personally collect you from the waiting room. Alternatively, we do have the facility of a portable induction loop. If you would like to use this, please ask at reception for assistance. You can give us notice and we will be able to request a British Sign Language (BSL) interpreter if required for your appointment.
If you have any further requirements or ideas for improvement please email us at gmicb-sto.p88005-admin@nhs.net, or ask to speak to our Operations Manager. Thank you
